“Waiting Time Indicator” with the first trial at Admiralty Station, provides real-time update on the waiting situation at selected platforms, for passengers to have better planning of their journey

Remark:

1. “Estimated waiting time” is projected based on the passenger flow at one of the busiest spots on a particular platform

2. “Estimated average waiting time for the next 3 hours” is projected based on the historical passenger flow data

3. “Estimated waiting time” will be updated at 30-second intervals

4. “Estimated waiting time” and “Estimated average waiting time for the next 3 hours” might differ from the actual situation when there is a service delay/ disruption
